NOVA GARAGE DOORS · TAMPA BAY, FLORIDA
Terms of service.
Last updated: October 27, 2026
These terms cover your use of this website and the service requests you send through it. By using the site or sending a request, you agree to them. The details of a particular job, such as its scope and price, are agreed with you directly for that job.
What NOVA does
NOVA Garage Doors repairs and services residential garage doors, and the openers already on them, in Tampa and nearby Tampa Bay communities: springs, cables, tracks, rollers, hinges and other door hardware, and opener repair. We work on the door you have; we don’t sell garage doors or openers.
Requests and appointments
The booking form sends a request, not a confirmed appointment. We contact you to check that we can serve your address and to agree on a time. The timing you pick in the form is a preference; a visit is booked only once we have confirmed it with you.
Estimates and your approval
What a repair costs depends on what the assessment finds: the cause, the parts, and the work involved. You’ll hear the proposed scope and the estimate before a repair starts, and no repair goes ahead without your approval. If something turns up during the job that changes the scope, the work pauses so it can be explained to you first. Any charge for the visit itself is explained when your appointment is confirmed.
Payment
Payment terms and the ways you can pay are confirmed with you before work begins. Please don’t send card numbers or other payment details through the website form.
Changing or cancelling a visit
If your plans change, call (813) 836-7236 as early as you can so the visit can be moved or cancelled.
Safety at your home
Garage door springs and cables hold a great deal of tension and can cause serious injury. Until your door has been repaired:
- Don’t adjust, loosen, or remove springs, cables, drums, or bottom brackets.
- Don’t run the opener or force a door that is off its track, hanging crooked, or has a broken spring or cable.
- Keep people, pets, and vehicles out of the door’s path, and don’t walk or drive under a door that is stuck open.
- Never disable or bypass the opener’s safety sensors.
On the day of the visit, please make sure the technician can reach the door safely: clear space in front of it and inside the garage, and keep pets secured.
